We are seeking an experienced Insurance Underwriter to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate will assess risks and determine coverage limits and premiums for various insurance products. You will analyze data, collaborate with agents, and use your industry knowledge to ensure the company remains competitive.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite complex policies using proprietary software tools.
• Analyze market trends to ensure competitiveness of offerings.
• Create reports on underwriting performance and risk exposure.
• Foster relationships with clients to understand their needs.
• Develop strategies to improve the underwriting process.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Master's degree in Business Administration is a plus.

Experience

• 5+ years of underwriting experience preferred.

Certifications

• CPCU
• ACU

Languages

• English: Fluent
