Job Description

We are in search of a meticulous Life Scientist to join our dynamic forensic science team. This role is pivotal in aiding criminal investigations by conducting thorough analyses of physical evidence collected from crime scenes. The ideal candidate should possess a strong scientific background and a deep understanding of forensic techniques. You will work closely with law enforcement agencies and provide critical support in legal proceedings, as well as present your findings in court.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze evidence using various forensic techniques and tools.
  • Conduct physical examinations and analyses in a laboratory setting.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of analysis processes and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure the integrity of evidence handling.
  • Present findings and analyses in a clear and concise manner during court appearances.
  • Keep up-to-date with new developments in forensic technologies.
  • Support law enforcement agencies in solving crimes through scientific evidence.
  • Promote a culture of safety and quality in all laboratory activities.
  • Contribute to outreach programs that educate the community about forensic science.
  • Assist in drafting reports and presentations on forensic findings for stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Forensic Science or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred in Forensic or Biological Sciences.
Experience
  • Four years of experience in a forensic laboratory or relevant field.
