Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee import operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with suppliers and logistics partners.
  • Prepare and review import documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor shipment schedules and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist in cost analysis to optimize freight expenditures.
  • Conduct audits of import processes and documentation.
  • Provide training and support to junior team members on import processes.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Import/Export Regulations In-depth knowledge of import/export regulations.
  • Documentation Management Proficient in managing import documentation.
  • ERP Systems Experience with ERP systems for import management.
  • Communication Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Problem-solving Strong analytical skills to resolve import-related issues.
  • Certified International Trade Professional (CITP)
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience with customs brokerage: Familiarity with customs brokerage procedures and practices.
  • Familiarity with Incoterms: Knowledge of Incoterms and their application in international shipping.
