Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to manage repairs and maintenance on trucks, cranes, and other heavy equipment. You will play a critical role in our team's success and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Keep work area organized and follow cleanliness standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development.
• Communicate repair statuses and recommend maintenance needs to clients.
• Ensure that all machinery operates at peak efficiency.
• Review repair manuals and schematics to ensure accurate repairs.

Requirements

Education

• Certification or Associate's degree in Heavy Equipment Technology or related field
• Bachelor's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in heavy-duty equipment repair and maintenance.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in hand and power tools usage
• Strong diagnostic skills

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Team collaboration

Certifications

• Certification in specific heavy vehicle brands such as Caterpillar or Volvo preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics: Skill in understanding equipment diagrams and technical specifications.
• Previous field service experience: Experience in working on-site at customer locations providing repair services.
