Job Description

As a Musical Instrument Repairer and Tuner at Music Services Inc., you will be responsible for tuning pianos to perfection and performing maintenance and repairs. Our ideal candidate has a keen musical ear and a commitment to high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Tune and adjust various musical instruments.
• Educate clients on instrument maintenance.
• Develop a strong relationship with clients to foster repeat business.
• Keep up to date with advances in instrument repair technology.
• Provide feedback to the repair manager on client interactions.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
• Collaborate with other repair technicians to share best practices.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Musical Instrument Repair is a plus

Experience

• Experience working with a variety of piano types and brands

Certifications

• Piano Tuner Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Electronic Keyboards: Experience tuning and repairing electronic keyboards and synthesizers.
• Ability to Work Independently: Self-sufficient and capable of managing travel to client locations.
