Job Description

As an Urban Planner, your expertise will guide the design, regulation, and implementation of urban development projects. You will be instrumental in researching demographics, land use, and policy impacts, and you’ll collaborate with local governments and community organizations to enhance urban livability.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct demographic and land use studies to inform development plans.
  • Facilitate public engagement sessions to gather community input.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to devise sustainable urban solutions.
  • Draft comprehensive zoning ordinances and land use policies.
  • Review and analyze development proposals for alignment with community goals.
  • Monitor project implementation and assess compliance with urban plans.
  • Advise local government on potential economic and environmental impacts.
  • Create visual presentations to communicate planning concepts to diverse audiences.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or related field
  • Professional certification in urban planning (e.g., AICP) is desirable
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in urban planning or related field
