Job Description

As an Extruding, Forming, Pressing, and Compacting Machine Setter, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining precision machinery to fabricate mats to exact specifications. You will ensure that all production processes are performed efficiently and safely while meeting quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust machine settings based on production requirements.
• Conduct regular checks and maintenance on equipment to ensure functionality.
• Adhere to strict hygiene and safety standards in the workplace.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement new production techniques.
• Perform quality control inspections and report any discrepancies.
• Keep work area organized and clean, removing any hazards.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and improvements.
• Assist in the training of new staff on equipment operation and safety.
• Track production output to ensure targets are met.
• Respond promptly to production issues to minimize downtime.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certificate in manufacturing or machinery operation is preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Mat production techniques
• Basic mechanical knowledge

Languages

• English: Fluent
