Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating mental health disorders, conducting evaluations, and developing treatment plans. Experience with various therapy modalities is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Assess mental health status using standardized instruments.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops.
  • Monitor medication efficacy and adjust dosages when necessary.
  • Document treatment progress and evaluate outcomes periodically.
  • Support patients in developing coping strategies and life skills.
  • Advocate for patients' mental health rights within the healthcare system.
  • Engage in research activities related to mental health practices.
  • Promote a culture of empathy and professionalism within the team.

Requirements

Education
  • MD or DO with completed residency in Psychiatry
  • Fellowship in a subspecialty is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical psychiatry
