Job Description

Join our team as a Yard Supervisor, where you'll be responsible for overseeing yard staff and daily operations. Coordinating with various departments, you will ensure safe work practices while maintaining high levels of productivity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily yard operations and direct staff.
• Enforce safety standards to reduce operational hazards.
• Keep track of inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy.
• Work collaboratively with transportation and logistics teams.
• Prepare detailed operational and inventory reports.
• Provide onboarding and ongoing training for yard personnel.
• Foster a culture of efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Conduct routine evaluations of yard practices and workflows.
• Ensure timely loading and unloading of shipments.
• Create and manage staff schedules to optimize resource allocation.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business Management is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years experience in yard management or logistics supervision.

Languages
