Job Description

We are seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage our stock levels effectively. In this role, you will oversee the inventory processes to ensure we meet business demands efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and experience in inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory records and ensure they are accurate.
• Perform audits to find and rectify inventory discrepancies.
• Collaborate with other departments for timely inventory replenishment.
• Assess inventory data to optimize management practices.
• Enforce procedures to minimize losses and theft.
• Document all inventory-related activities comprehensively.
• Coordinate with teams to accurately anticipate inventory needs.
• Engage with suppliers to ensure product quality.
• Coach new staff on inventory best practices.
• Utilize advanced inventory software for tracking purposes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management

Technical Skills

• Inventory management software proficiency
• Data analysis with Excel

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Analytical thinking

Certifications

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of international trade regulations: Insight into laws affecting inventory management and logistics.
