Join our team as a Lathe and Turning Machine Tool Setter. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating lathe machines to produce precision components. The ideal candidate will possess a keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to manufacture intricate parts.
• Monitor and adjust machine speeds and feeds for optimal performance.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure operational efficiency.
• Document production processes and maintain quality control records.
• Work with engineering to develop optimized machining processes.
• Train junior operators on machine setup and operational procedures.
• Enforce safety protocols and report unsafe conditions immediately.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in lathe operations or relevant machine experience.
