Job Description

The Health and Safety Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing health and safety policies that create a safe working environment. This role requires close collaboration with various departments to ensure compliance with regulations and to foster a culture of safety.

Responsibilities

  • Lead health and safety audits across the company to ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Foster teamwork in safety initiatives by engaging employees in safety committees.
  • Create manuals and documentation for health and safety procedures.
  • Conduct workshops on key health and safety topics regularly.
  • Review and update safety policies as required to meet legislative changes.
  • Act as the point of contact for any health and safety inquiries from staff.
  • Coordinate emergency response drills and training for staff.
  • Assist in the development of safety communication materials.
  • Collaborate in research for continuous improvement in safety practices.
  • Compile and analyze safety data for management reporting.
