Sample Maker

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Sample Maker to join our team. You will create prototypes from various materials and collaborate closely with designers and engineers to meet specific project requirements. Your skills in CAD and attention to detail are vital for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design team to produce high-quality prototypes.
• Identify and suggest design improvements based on prototype performance.
• Train and mentor junior team members on prototype development techniques.
• Ensure adherence to safety and compliance regulations in all processes.
• Document production processes and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project status and innovative ideas.
• Explore and evaluate new technologies for sample making.
• Forge strong relationships with suppliers for timely material acquisition.
• Assist in project management by providing input on timelines and resource needs.
• Continuously seek ways to improve sample-making techniques and processes.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in sample making or related field

Technical Skills

• 3D CAD software
• Experience in CNC machining

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Problem-solving skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Hands-on experience with sustainable materials: Understanding of eco-friendly production techniques.
• Project management experience: Experience leading projects or teams in a manufacturing setting.
