Sewing Pattern Layout Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Sewing Pattern Layout Technician to join our team. In this position, you will leverage your expertise in garment construction and pattern making to create high-quality patterns and markers for efficient fabric cutting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze garment design and construct patterns based on specifications.
• Work with sample makers to ensure patterns meet requirements.
• Document all pattern revisions and maintain detailed records.
• Train and guide junior staff in pattern making techniques.
• Review production samples to ensure conformity with patterns.
• Stay abreast of changes in sewing technology and materials to enhance workflow.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project timelines and feedback.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred.

Experience

• 2-4 years of professional experience in pattern making.

Technical Skills

• 3D Pattern Making Software
• Fabric Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Previous Experience in Fashion Retail: Experience in a retail environment can be advantageous for understanding consumer needs.
