Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic Environmental Science Teachers for postsecondary education. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping students' understanding of environmental issues and solutions. Ideal candidates should bring a strong background in environmental science along with a passion for teaching.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive lectures on environmental policy, conservation, and ecology.
  • Encourage critical thinking through case studies and real-world examples.
  • Utilize laboratory and field research to enhance learning.
  • Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to departmental goals.
  • Advise students on academic and career opportunities in environmental science.
  • Foster a culture of inquiry and curiosity in the classroom.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary.
  • Engage in community service projects related to environmental sustainability.
  • Develop and maintain a resourceful library of instructional materials.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Education with a specialization in Environmental Studies
  • Relevant certifications in environmental science education are preferred

  • 3+ years in a similar teaching role
