Job Description

As a Medical and Clinical Laboratory Technician, you will play a vital role in the healthcare system by performing laboratory tests that help physicians diagnose and treat patients. Your expertise will contribute to high-quality patient care and accurate lab results.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of laboratory tests according to established protocols.
• Document results in compliance with laboratory procedures.
• Perform maintenance on laboratory instruments and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to interpret test results.
• Ensure accurate lab documentation and follow-up on discrepancies.
• Assist in training new laboratory staff and interns.
• Participate in laboratory safety and quality assurance meetings.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
• Bachelor's degree is preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
