Job Description

We are looking for an Environmental Compliance Inspector to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring adherence to local and federal environmental regulations. In this position, you will conduct inspections and assessments, offering expert guidance to both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead inspections and environmental assessments to verify compliance.
• Document and report findings in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Advise and assist in the development of policies and procedures for compliance.
• Coordinate with external agencies for compliance audits.
• Foster a culture of environmental awareness within the company.
• Implement corrective actions and follow up on compliance issues.
• Participate in environmental training programs and workshops.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Environmental Science or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental compliance or regulatory affairs

Technical Skills

• Environmental impact assessments
• Regulatory liaison

Soft Skills

• Project management
• Interpersonal skills

Certifications

• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with GIS tools: Knowledge in utilizing Geographic Information Systems for environmental analysis.
• Previous experience in governmental compliance: Experience with government regulations and compliance processes.
