Job Description

As a Child Support Officer, you will play an essential role in ensuring that children receive the financial support they deserve. This position involves working closely with custodial and non-custodial parents to establish and enforce child support orders and ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and enforce child support orders.
  • Investigate and locate absent parents.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders regarding case statuses.
  • Ensure that all documentation is current and complete.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance departmental performance.
  • Educate parents about their obligations and rights regarding child support.
  • Participate in training sessions for departmental improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, or a related field
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience preferably in family law or child support enforcement.
Technical Skills

Languages
  • English: Fluent
