Responsibilities

  • Pilot air ambulance aircraft with a focus on patient safety and medical team coordination.
  • Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections.
  • Document flight activity and maintain compliance with aviation regulations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for communication with ground and medical teams.
  • Evaluate weather conditions and make flight decisions accordingly.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations while prioritizing patient care.
  • Participate in regular training to enhance aviation and emergency response skills.
  • Help to continuously improve safety protocols and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation or related discipline
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of flying experience, ideally with a focus on air ambulance services.
