Plastic Parts Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Plastic Parts Designer to create and innovate plastic components. This role requires a strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and a proficiency in 3D CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from concept through production, ensuring timely delivery.
• Interface with manufacturing teams to address production challenges.
• Utilize 3D CAD software for dynamic modeling of plastic parts.
• Document and analyze performance data, suggesting design improvements.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to drive project success.
• Promote a culture of innovation by sharing new ideas and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in plastic parts design or related field

Technical Skills

• Injection Molding Processes
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Software

Soft Skills

• Collaboration
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent
