Job Description

As a Recreation Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and leading diverse recreational programs and activities for individuals and groups. Your creativity will help create fun, safe, and engaging experiences for participants of all ages.

Responsibilities

  • Explore and initiate partnerships with local organizations to expand recreational program offerings.
  • Facilitate workshops and events focusing on health and wellness initiatives.
  • Utilize social media and online platforms to promote recreational activities effectively.
  • Collect and report data on program success and participant satisfaction to management.
  • Organize special events, camps, and community service projects.
  • Serve as a point of contact for participants and families regarding program inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing recreational activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
Experience
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in recreational program management
