Job Description

As the Artistic Director, your role will involve shaping and advancing our artistic strategy. You'll collaborate with creative professionals, manage budgets, and ensure our productions resonate within the community. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the arts and extensive experience in leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Articulate and execute the organization's artistic vision.
  • Oversee all production activities ensuring high-quality performances.
  • Manage artistic budgets to ensure financial viability.
  • Create partnerships with local artists and arts organizations.
  • Evaluate performance metrics and outcomes of artistic programs.
  • Lead a team of artistic associates and production staff.
  • Promote diversity in programming to reflect community demographics.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Engage actively with audience feedback to enhance programming.
  • Organize workshops and community events for artistic development.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Arts Management or related field
  • Master's degree is ideal
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in a leadership role in the arts
