Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Foundry Hand to help produce high-quality castings. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, operating various machinery while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare molds and cores for upcoming casting runs.
Operate and maintain foundry equipment effectively.
Assist with the melting and pouring of metals during casting.
Conduct quality checks on castings for precision and standards.
Ensure safety protocols are adhered to in the workspace.
Communicate with supervisors regarding production status.
Participate in process improvements and safety initiatives.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Foundry-related certification or training preferred
Experience
No prior experience required, but experience in a foundry is advantageous.
