Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Chemical Equipment Operator with expertise in nuclear reactor operations. As a key player in our team, you will ensure the efficient and safe functioning of reactors, adhering to all established protocols. The ideal candidate will have a background in nuclear engineering and a passion for maintaining high safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor the nuclear reactor using advanced control systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of operational parameters and maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of reactor start-up and shut-down procedures.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with industry best practices.
  • Ensure optimal reactor performance through proactive problem identification.

Requirements

Education
  • Associate's degree in Engineering or Physics
  • Relevant certifications are a plus
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Reactor Operator or in a related field
