Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Design Professor to join our faculty. The selected candidate will deliver lectures on architectural theories and principles, mentor students in their design projects, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance our curriculum.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discussions on modern architectural trends and sustainable practices.
  • Coordinate student exhibitions and presentations of design work.
  • Engage in community outreach to promote architectural education.
  • Foster a learning environment that encourages student creativity and innovation.
  • Conduct reviews and assessments of student portfolios.
  • Network with industry professionals and organizations.
  • Contribute to the department’s strategic goals and initiatives.
  • Lead workshops on software tools used in architectural design.
  • Collaborate with other departments for interdisciplinary projects.
  • Advise on academic policies and procedural improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Architecture or a related field
Experience
  • Proven experience in architectural design and/or teaching with a portfolio showcasing design projects and scholarly work

Advantageous
