Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team in Orlando. The successful candidate will manage financial transactions, ensure accuracy in reporting, and assist in maintaining compliance with financial regulations. Your role will involve handling accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and preparing various financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Review and maintain financial ledgers, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
• Prepare comprehensive financial status reports for management reviews.
• Resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly and efficiently.
• Facilitate cash handling and ensure secure cash management.
• Support management in financial decision-making through analytical reporting.
• Train and assist junior accounting staff as needed.
• Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and accounting practices.
• Work with internal teams to optimize budgeting and forecasting processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Master's degree in Finance is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in bookkeeping or accounting

• QuickBooks

Certifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
