Fine Artist (Pattern Illustrator)

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Pattern Illustrator to join our creative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing unique and engaging patterns that align with our brand's aesthetic and client requirements, using both traditional and digital design techniques. This role demands creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop original pattern concepts that reflect current fashion trends.
• Edit and refine patterns using software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Present design ideas and collaborate with the team to decide on final patterns.
• Conduct color and fabric research to inform design work.
• Participate in design reviews and feedback sessions with stakeholders.
• Assist in the production process by preparing files for printing and production.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Fashion Design or Textile Design is preferred.
• Equivalent experience and strong portfolio could be considered.

Experience

• Experience in surface pattern design and textile production.
