Job Description

As a Self-Enrichment Teacher, you'll lead culinary classes focused on practical cooking skills and food preparation techniques. Your role will involve designing curriculum, engaging students of all ages, and fostering a collaborative and fun learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a creative curriculum for engaging cooking classes.
• Instruct students on a range of cooking styles, from basic techniques to advanced culinary skills.
• Provide timely feedback and assessments to students to help them improve.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards.
• Work collaboratively with the teaching team to create interdisciplinary connections in lessons.
• Engage with the community to promote culinary programs and events.
• Organize cooking demonstrations and special events to showcase students' skills.
• Mentor students in developing their culinary passions and goals.
• Use innovative tools and teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Education, or related field
• Certification in food handling and safety
• Master’s degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in culinary education
