Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Nut Grader to join our production team in Fresno, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for sorting and grading nuts based on size, color, and quality standards. You will operate machinery, maintain safety protocols, and collaborate with your team to optimize processes.

Responsibilities

• Grade and sort nuts based on established industry criteria.
• Monitor grading machinery and perform routine maintenance.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols while operating equipment.
• Document inventory levels and relevant quality assurance metrics.
• Assist in training new team members on grading procedures.
• Identify and report any production issues to the Production Manager.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to maintain workflow.
• Contribute to team efforts by maintaining high work standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in food processing or agriculture industry preferred.

Technical Skills

• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Soft Skills

• Flexibility and adaptability

Languages

• Spanish: Basic

Advantageous

• Ability to speak Spanish: Useful for communicating in diverse agricultural communities.
