Job Description

As a Health and Safety Engineer, you will lead initiatives to develop and implement workplace health and safety programs. This role involves conducting thorough inspections and assessments of work environments, identifying potential hazards, and recommending solutions to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

  • Assess workplace hazards and implement control measures.
  • Facilitate communication with regulatory agencies regarding health and safety standards.
  • Participate in safety audits and collaborate with external safety consultants.
  • Develop safety materials and resources for employee reference.
  • Stay current on OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
  • Participate in safety committees and advocate for employee safety.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
  • Master's degree in Occupational Safety or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial hygiene and workplace safety
