Job Description

As a Collet Maker, you will craft high-quality collets used in various industries. Your attention to detail and precision will ensure the production of accurate and reliable collets. You will also be responsible for maintaining machinery and improving production efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate collets by following technical specifications and blueprints.
  • Utilize CNC machines and manual tools for precision machining.
  • Conduct detailed inspections of finished products for quality control.
  • Execute maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure operational performance.
  • Engage in teamwork to refine collet designs and enhance processes.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and quality guidelines.
  • Document production activities and track inventory levels accurately.
  • Mentor junior staff on collet fabrication and machinery operation.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in the production line.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Technical certification in machining or similar field is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in collet making or machining.
Technical Skills
  • Machining techniques and tools
  • Quality control procedures
Soft Skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience with CNC machines: Familiarity with CNC programming and operation.
