Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Gritter. The primary responsibility will be to operate and maintain the gritting equipment to ensure safe and efficient ice and snow removal during winter weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate gritting machines during adverse weather conditions.
• Conduct regular equipment checks and maintenance for optimal performance.
• Report any major mechanical issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of gritting equipment and materials.
• Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge on snow removal processes.
• Work collaboratively with other maintenance staff to uphold service quality.
