Job Description

In the role of parachute marker, you will be responsible for precisely marking landing zones for parachutists. This involves operating specialized marking equipment, conducting safety inspections, and collaborating with aircrew to ensure effective communication and coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety of aircrews and equipment during marking operations.
  • Maintain marking equipment and perform regular inspections.
  • Provide training to new personnel on safe marking procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with pilots and ground crew members.
  • Document and report any issues during operations for quality assurance.
  • Adapt to changing conditions and requirements during flight.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss operations and safety.
  • Implement best practices for operational efficiency.
  • Support a culture of safety and compliance.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Military or civilian experience in marking landing zones is preferred.
