Job Description

As a Pulpwood Dealer at Timber Solutions Inc., you'll play a crucial role in our procurement process by sourcing and selling pulpwood logs to various industries. Your expertise will help ensure quality supply and foster strong relationships with suppliers and customers alike.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to source quality pulpwood logs.
  • Facilitate negotiations with clients to secure favorable contract terms.
  • Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of pulpwood to customers.
  • Provide market insights to inform pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote pulpwood products.
  • Analyze supply chain efficiencies and suggest improvements.
  • Conduct site visits to assess supplier operations and compliance.
  • Implement best practices for sustainable sourcing.
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales forecasts and inventory levels.
  • Participate in industry events to foster relationships and stay informed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Business, or related field
  • Additional certifications in sales or marketing preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in pulpwood trading or forestry sales.
