Structural Metal Fabricator and Fitter

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Structural Metal Fabricator and Fitter who will be responsible for constructing and installing metal frames and structures for various construction projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with architects and engineers to ensure the highest standards and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut metal components accurately according to specifications.
• Assemble and secure metal components using fastening techniques.
• Erect metal frames and structures, ensuring they are plumb and level.
• Work with various metals and understand their properties.
• Perform regular maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the workshop.
• Assist in training new team members on safe practices and techniques.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in welding or metal framing preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in metal framing or relevant field

Certifications

• Welding Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience Operating CNC Machinery: Hands-on experience with CNC machinery for metal fabrication.
• Supervisory Experience: Any prior supervisory or leadership experience in construction is a plus.
