Job Description
As a Retail Loss Prevention Specialist, you will be tasked with safeguarding our retail environment. You will work to prevent theft and ensure that all store protocols are followed to maintain a secure shopping experience.
Responsibilities
Ensure effective monitoring of store premises through CCTV and other security systems.
Implement and maintain loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage.
Conduct thorough investigations of suspected theft incidents.
Train staff in best practices for theft deterrence and loss prevention.
Work with law enforcement when necessary to address criminal activities.
Perform monthly assessments of security equipment and procedures.
Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring store safety.
Requirements
Education
Associate degree in Criminal Justice or related field
Experience
3+ years of experience in a retail environment with loss prevention focus
