As a Registered Nurse specializing in perinatal care, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to expectant mothers and their newborns. You will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure safe and healthy deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document the delivery process and maternal health.
• Educate families on newborn care and maternal health importance.
• Assist in creating and implementing patient care plans.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Engage in professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience in maternal-child nursing preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in a perinatal role is highly desirable

• Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Intravenous (IV) Therapy

Certifications

• Inpatient Obstetric Nursing Certification (RNC-OB)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Spanish: Conversational

• CPR Instructor Certification: Certification to instruct others in CPR techniques.
