Job Description

As a Dietitian Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dietitians to provide exceptional nutritional guidance and meal planning assistance to our clients. Your responsibilities will include participating in meal assessments, educating clients on healthy eating habits, and helping them achieve their health goals.

Responsibilities

  • Support meal planning initiatives by ensuring all dietary needs are met.
  • Assist the dietitian in client education sessions on nutrition topics.
  • Document dietary assessments and create meal plans as directed.
  • Engage with clients to assess their understanding of nutritional guidelines.
  • Help coordinate nutrition workshops and community outreach programs.
  • Utilize dietary software for tracking client information and progress.
  • Provide follow-up support to clients after dietary plans are implemented.
  • Help with administrative tasks related to client management.
  • Continuously learn about nutrition trends to improve service delivery.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
  • Registered Dietetic Technician (DTR) certification preferred
Experience
  • Prior experience in a nutrition-related setting or working alongside a dietitian is desired but not mandatory.

Advantageous

  • Bilingual skills: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus.
