Job Description

Join our team as a Boiler Engineer where you will conduct routine inspections and repairs on boiler systems. You will utilize your technical skills to diagnose issues, maintain compliance with safety standards, and ensure optimal performance of all equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control boiler operations, making adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize boiler performance.
• Conduct safety audits of the boiler systems and make recommendations.
• Provide ongoing training to junior staff in boiler operations and maintenance.
• Adhere to company policies and local regulations while on the job.
• Work irregular hours during emergencies or maintenance shutdowns.
• Assist in the development of maintenance programs for boiler systems.
• Evaluate equipment for potential upgrades and enhancements to performance.
• Support environmental compliance efforts related to boiler emissions.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field
• Trade certification in boiler operation is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within industrial settings

Technical Skills

• Digital multimeters and gauges
• Soldering and welding equipment

Soft Skills

Certifications

• EPA Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
