Job Description

The Applique Cutter is responsible for cutting and shaping fabric pieces to be used in the applique process for various products. This role demands a keen eye for detail and proficiency in using cutting tools and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing various cutting tools, such as fabric scissors and rotary cutters, for precise cuts.
• Maintaining an organized workspace to promote efficiency.
• Training junior staff members on cutting techniques and machine operation.
• Conducting routine maintenance checks on cutting equipment.
• Participating in team meetings to discuss production goals and improvements.
• Providing feedback on design feasibility based on fabric characteristics.
• Adapting to changes in production schedules and priorities.
• Documenting quality control measures for each batch of fabric processed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2 years of experience in fabric cutting and/or machinery operation

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of fabric types
• Experience with cutting machines

Soft Skills

• Effective communication
