Job Description

In the role of Chemical Inspector, you will oversee compliance with safety regulations in chemical manufacturing facilities. This includes inspecting equipment, evaluating hazardous materials management practices, and providing guidance on best practices to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections and audits of chemical processes to identify areas for compliance enhancement.
  • Evaluate emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.
  • Monitor environmental impact and recommend improvements to reduce risks.
  • Conduct training sessions for new hires on safety protocols and best practices.
  • Review and analyze chemical data to assess risk and compliance levels.
  • Collaborate in audits and inspections with regulatory agencies.
  • Assist in developing safety documentation and training materials.
  • Identify trends in safety compliance and propose proactive measures.
  • Work with facility management to ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • Advanced certification in chemical safety is a plus
Experience
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in chemical inspection or environmental safety
