Job Description

We are seeking a Waste Minimization Technician who will implement strategies and initiatives aimed at reducing waste production and enhancing sustainability within our organization. The ideal candidate will work closely with various departments to develop and execute waste reduction plans while fostering a culture of environmental awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Implement waste reduction strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Conduct regular waste audits to track performance and compliance.
  • Educate employees on proper waste management techniques and protocols.
  • Analyze waste management data to drive decision-making and improvements.
  • Develop partnerships with external organizations for sustainability projects.
  • Advise on best practices for waste disposal and recycling.
  • Create awareness campaigns related to waste minimization.
  • Participate in community sustainability efforts and outreach.
  • Assist in creating a waste reduction culture throughout the organization.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of waste management initiatives and recommend changes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications preferred.
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in waste management or a similar role.
