Job Description

As a Shellfish Dredge Operator at Aquatic Harvests Inc., you will play a vital role in our sustainable harvesting operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with dredging equipment and a passion for marine conservation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the operation of motorized dredges and other fishing gear.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on harvesting equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental standards and safety protocols.
  • Document daily catch data and equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control Team to maintain product standards.
  • Work with the Engineering Team to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and safety awareness.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in shellfish harvesting or equipment operation preferred
