Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Meter Shop Supervisor to manage our team of skilled technicians. Your primary responsibilities will include supervising installations, maintaining records, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols within our shop.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations in the meter shop.
  • Ensure safety compliance and manage resources effectively.
  • Train new technicians on installation and repair procedures.
  • Review and improve existing processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Prepare and present operational reports to management.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for project planning.
  • Foster a positive work environment through team engagement.
  • Conduct regular safety drills and training sessions.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in metering or a related industry
Technical Skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals
Soft Skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
Languages
  • English: Fluent

  • Experience with inventory management systems: Understanding of how to manage inventory effectively for resource planning.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures: Well-versed in the applicable safety regulations for metering operations.
