Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Pharmacist in Indianapolis, where you'll play a crucial role in optimizing patient care. You will dispense medications, advise patients on drug interactions, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in surgical procedures and provide anesthesia monitoring.
  • Collect and analyze diagnostic samples such as blood and feces.
  • Administer veterinary treatments and medications as required.
  • Document patient histories and treatment plans in the system.
  • Train and mentor new team members on best practices.
  • Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for animals and clients.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and client communications.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to monitor the recovery of patients.

Requirements

Education
  • Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a veterinary practice
