Job Description

The rail track layer will be responsible for constructing and maintaining railroad tracks including the installation of rails, ties, and other track materials. The ideal candidate will be skilled in operating heavy machinery and ensuring the safety and integrity of track systems.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain railway tracks.
  • Operate heavy machinery for laying tracks.
  • Monitor and report on track conditions.
  • Follow safety procedures at all times.
  • Work with team members to meet deadlines.
  • Keep track of tools and equipment.
  • Assist in training new team members.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Technical training in heavy machinery operation preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in heavy equipment operation preferred
