Job Description

As a Stationary Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of various mechanical systems within our buildings. Your expertise will ensure that all HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems function safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of HVAC systems ensuring efficiency and reliability.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems to identify issues.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs.
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules and practices.
  • Assist in budget preparation for maintenance and repair projects.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Document maintenance schedules and maintenance histories.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Participate in training programs for new technologies and systems.
  • Lead emergency response drills and safety training.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HVAC, engineering, or related field (preferred)
Experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a stationary engineer or in a related field
