Job Description

As a Child, Family, and School Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing support and resources to families in need. You’ll work collaboratively with schools, community organizations, and families to address a range of social and emotional challenges. Your expertise in counseling and support will empower families to overcome obstacles and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the strengths and challenges of families through interviews and observations.
  • Facilitate workshops and educational programs for parents.
  • Monitor the progress of service plans and adjust as necessary.
  • Collaborate with mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Support families in crisis situations through immediate intervention.
  • Engage with community organizations to enhance support services.
  • Compile case notes and reports to document progress and outcomes.
  • Develop partnerships with local schools to promote student well-being.
  • Implement preventive programs to support at-risk families.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Master's degree in Social Work is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in community service or social work
