Industrial Painter

Job Description

As an Industrial Painter, you will perform painting and finishing duties on various surfaces and equipment. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure our products meet industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean surfaces prior to painting.
• Mix and apply paint following technical specifications.
• Inspect finished surfaces for quality assurance and defects.
• Document processes and maintain inventory of painting supplies.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers and Electricians on projects.
• Train new team members on painting techniques and equipment.
• Develop and maintain safe working practices.
• Adhere to environmental regulations regarding paint disposal.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational training in painting or coatings application

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience with specialized industrial coatings

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of different paint types and finishes
• Basic computer skills

Soft Skills

• Time management skills
• Willingness to learn

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with specialized equipment such as sandblasters and pressure washers: Ability to operate high-pressure cleaning and coating equipment.
• Ability to mix and match paint colors: Familiarity with creating custom colors for specific projects.
