Job Description

As an Electrical Power-Line Installer and Repairer, you will play a crucial role in the construction and maintenance of electrical power systems. Responsibilities

• Install power lines in various environments, including residential and commercial areas.
• Conduct troubleshooting for electrical line issues, communicating with dispatch as needed.
• Work effectively at heights using safety harnesses and other protective equipment.
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain skills and knowledge of safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in Electrical or related field is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in power line installation and maintenance

Technical Skills

• Automated systems experience
• Mechanical aptitude

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified Journeyman Lineman
• OSHA safety certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certified Journeyman Lineman: A professional certification demonstrating expertise in the field.
• Experience with SCADA systems: Familiarity with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems used in utilities.
